Signing of agreement with AFS

In an effort to promote intercultural learning and commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Moisés Bertoni Foundation (FMB) is pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with AFS Intercultural Programs. The signing took place on Tuesday, February 27 in Asunción, the headquarters of the FMB, with the participation of the executive director of the FMB, Yan Speranza, and the executive director of AFS, Francesca Lozio Salomoni.

The main objective of this agreement is to strengthen collaboration between both organizations to facilitate the exchange of intercultural knowledge and experiences, highlighting the importance of intercultural learning among young people and its connection with the SDGs, especially in environmental, social and economic areas. This will be carried out through the “Mbaracayú Environmental Reserve Experience” program. This program will provide a unique opportunity for AFS exchange participants, school-aged youth residing in the United States, to immerse themselves in the experience of getting to know the Mbaracayú Reserve and participate in activities related to its conservation and sustainable development.

For the Moisés Bertoni Foundation, this initiative is of great importance, since it not only encourages cultural exchange between the young participants, but also promotes the exchange of knowledge with the community of the Mbaracayú Forest Natural Reserve, thus enriching the experience for both parties.
